Job detail
Transportation Manager Northwest Wine Services is a 760K sq. ft. bonded wine

warehouse/distribution facility located in SE Washington State, heart of the PNW

Wine Industry. FT exempt position. Annual income: $70,000-$90,000 DOE plus bonuses,

insurance and 401k. Position is responsible for superviseing and coordinating the

day-to-day operations of the transportation department. Position engages carriers

to find the most cost effective and reliable methods of utilizing available

freight options, develops and maintains a productive staff, prepares reports,

and maintains an efficient scheduling and dispatching process.

Position requires broad transportation expertise, capability to take

lead on projects that drive efficiencies in service and customer practice,

excellent analytical expertise with the capability to manage multiple projects

with a sense of urgency, practice in managing people and external relationships,

capability to effectively present information and respond to questions from

individuals and/or groups both within the organization or while representing the

organization, excellent time management expertise, attention to detail,

and capability to work independently with minimum supervision.

Position requires a Bachelor's Degree in Business, Logistics,

or equivalent practice, 3-5 plus years' practice in transportation or

closely related field, and 5 plus years in a leadership abilities function.
